yet another black eye

well, really red eye. something happened at daycare late yesterday. Roslyn came out of the playroom when I showed up with a big abrasion on her right eye. Maybe one of the other kids bumped or pushed her into the toy bin, but she came out crying. it didn't look too bad when I picked her up, but by 7 it was all swollen and she was talking like Rocky for some reason.

"cut me Mick, cut me."

A little playtime in the mud outside (we had a good rain storm too) and then back in for dinner.

After biting me (again) and startling the crap out of me, I must have scared her, she took to the bottle, finished and fell asleep in my arms. RIGHT before KB got home. Then she basically slept the entire night with us no worries. and she didn't even want to wake up this morning. Eye looks about the same, but she's back in the fray right off.

evening naps

late naps lead to staying up late. duh! Roslyn just wouldn't chill after that 5PM nap. but it was ok, no one got hurt.

She ate baked salmon like a fiend too.

At the Farm

We took Ros to the Lee Martinez Park Farm. Good fun. Roslyn was facinated by the chickens; was fearless with the charging ducks and goats. Good times around what I think all farms should look like. Clean and organized. Good for the animals, good for the people.
