The room is still a mess, gotta get cleaned up in there. The house seems to have more clutter than ever.
upstairs, assembled the crib so that's in place, but need to get the bed out of that room (but to where?) and the changing station moved so we can actually walk around in there. All of my paint supplies need to be moved downstairs.
AND...we need to get a bag put together for that short notice call to the hospital.
now I'm getting stressed. eek.

Wow. Less than 3 weeks to due-date?????? Yikes!
The baby shower on Saturday was great. We got so many clothes that we probably don't need anything until WB is like 9 months old, if then even. . . Bob was lamenting the lack of vibrant colors in baby clothing. Maybe we should come up with our own line. When you ask used items, I think people bring like 10x as many gifts b/c I was a little overwhelmed with everyone's generosity! We have also gotten so many other items like our crib, bassinet, changing table, bouncy chair, high chair, baby back pack, bath tub, etc, and offers of much much more if we need it. We are very fortunate!
I was happy that last night's car safety seat class went so well. I sensed that Bob didn't really want to go, but he was, I think, surprised at how un-horrible it was (me too, a little bit)!
So, stats from my Monday appt - I had gained 1 lb - so a total gain of 21 lbs. I was 1.5 cm dilated, but she hadn't dropped yet. The doc told me I shouldn't go to the Rapid City meeting (yay!), so I had to ask a colleague to go (who wasn't very happy about it, but, hey, she said she would if I couldn't).
That's about it! Still working on WB's beret!

Car seat
KB and I went to a child safety class at the Firehouse last night. Was actually kind of cool. 4 out of 5 car seats are installed incorrectly. hmmm
The Fireman showed us how to do it right. And we got to check out the firetruck (man do they keep that clean)

Me and KB have both been fighting 'flu-like' symptoms all weekend. Blah
wonder if WB feels it. she's been a kickin' fiend.
Mom said that the heartburn that KB is experiencing, WB is likely to be hairy.
I'm thinking monkey hairy then, like Brad.
And there is a chance that she'll have blue eyes too.
Dark hair and blue eyes would be cool.
