baby girl is napping

bottle and a nap. I'm mc liking it. giving me a chance to watch some discovery and make dinner for kb.

One week to IPA

One more week of fermenting in the bottle. yay. and since we needed more bottles for the next batch of stout....I bought a 12 pack of 90 shilling. (although I think it would be cool to make an 80 shilling since no one is really making that)

Rash subsiding

That prescription stuff (Desotine .05%) along with the Aquaphor works wonders. In two days Roslyn's rash is almost entirely cleared off. Don't read the warning label, will scare the bajessus out of ya.

A few more problem areas to go. And she's happy happy and then cranky crank when she can't have her way (like bulling through to get behind the couch - she can't fit but she tries and strains and grunts!)

Last night though she was up several times crying. Dang. get back to sleep girl!

Dermatologist

Took Roslyn in for a skin check up as her rash has been going on for a month now.

OOOPS. looks like we've been doing everything wrong. baby Eczema. No more frequent baths, no harsh soaps.

dang, we were making it worse. So, the cream he prescribed for a few weeks followed by the aquaphor to seal it in and keep her natural oils in the skin. Even in just one overnight, it seems to be helping.

Notes

Roslyn is a walking fool. she's getting around quite nicely now. KB decided to call in sick today and hang out with her. Last few evenings, she's been on (independent-playing by herself, etc) and off (clingy) She did eat well monday night but also went down before KB got home. Dang.

Last night she ate well again and took an early nap (4ish) so she was up and active by time KB got home. Happy and having fun. That nap was good for her as she was still up at 8:30!!!
