Sleeping arrangements

KB barely has a corner of the pillow and practically falling off the airmattress

Camping

Well, the camping trip was deemed a mild success. Packing of gear pared down a bit to accomodate the added Roslyn gear. But all in all, worked out OK, despite the weather.

Tent held up fine (although the fly doesn't fit all that well)
Ben did great as both companion and patrol (some guy walked cross country carrying plastic bags. then he appeared again in the AM before we packed up. Ben went out to about a 30 yard perimeter and moved to watch this guy as he went by)

Wyoming wind, but that was to be expected. Stars were incredible. Haven't seen it like that in a long time. But it was a long day so we passed on the evening fire to get some rest.

Roslyn was flopping around all night on the air mattress. something was bothering her and she woke up on the wrong side of it. (and KB was tired from getting whacked in the face every hour)

Short of that, it was a nice morning and it allowed us to see how she reacts to camping out and how much stuff we really need for a day trip.

And the 4th fireworks in Laramie were pretty good for a small town.

View looking East to the Medicine Bow Range where our tent was set up. We came down to town just in time as that storm was the worst (and the fastest) that I've ever seen it up there. Weather is weird this year.

It cleared fast and the tent and supplies were fine when we got back up there.

(it's so nice having only a 20 minute drive from the house to the campsite.)
